HO CHING YEUNG
Ho Ching is a hybrid animator based in Bristol and Edinburgh, specializing in both 2D and CG animation. She is proficient in industry-standard software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, and Toon Boom Harmony. Raised in Hong Kong, Ho Ching draws inspiration from the culture and films of her hometown, which she loves to integrate into her work. For her final year project, Ho Ching is producing a romance and horror animation titled "The Dark Romance".

This final year project combines 2D and CG in the animation. The film explores a toxic relationship in which one partner deeply cares, while the other remains emotionally detached. As the couple spirals into a cycle of pain, they transform into each other's worst monsters.
Character Modelling - Cyborg girl
Modelled and textured in Maya and Zbrush, is a cyberpunk character inspired by Ghost in the Shell and other online references.
Hard surface modelling - The airship from “Castle In The Sky”
Modelled and textured in Maya and Substance Painter, and the design originates from the Ghibli animation “Castle in the Sky”.
