Meal Deal

Meal Deal is a stop motion mockumentary comedy following a collection of interviews and skits that revolve around the classic British meal deal. Co-created with Anais Kheir and Niamh McArdle, we wanted to create a similar graduate film to develop our skills in producing, animating and puppet making to improve our portfolios. We are currently in production and will be completed by June 2025.

Whilst assisting with creative elements, it was my responsibility to manage the administrative jobs. I created and managed the film's production schedule, working out all the tasks that needed to be completed and when they needed to be completed to ensure we finish production on time. I was in charge of recruitment and crew management, creating branding for posters in order to market our film to hire key creative personnel. I also oversaw production, making adjustments to our schedules and tackling last-minute issues such as scheduling conflicts to puppet fixing.

Alongside working as a producer during my final year, I also took on the role as the degree show coordinator for my degree show. Each year, a team of graduating students work together to raise money by putting on events and selling artwork to fund their degree show. My role was to put together the committee, oversee, communicate and manage everyone's roles and workflow.

Christmas Fundraiser

I collaborated closely with both students and staff to curate a cohesive and engaging showcase that reflected the diverse talents of our graduating cohort. My responsibilities included coordinating meetings, delegating tasks, managing schedules and liaising with external partners such as printers and venue technicians. I also played a key role in fundraising, organising events such as our UWE Christmas event, The Square Event and stalls in our university canteen. I assisted in designing promotional materials and organising marketing efforts across social media to ensure a successful turnout.
This role strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and gave me valuable hands-on experience in creative project management.
